Convert SRT/STL file to Avid (*.avb) file:
This is only a demo version so only 10 subtitles are converted.
- Set all the parameters of the subtitles (language, format, font size, etc…).
- Choose the SRT/STL file you wish to convert with the browse button.
- Click the Convert button.
- Save the converted file to your computer.
- Unzip the saved file.
Avid Editing system:
- Open the *.avb file in your Avid project.
- Drop the subtitles sequence inside the bin onto the timeline.
- Mark all the sequence from the beginning of the timeline to the end.
- From the ‘Clip’ menu choose ‘Re-Create Title Media’.
- If you are asked to choose font – We recommend ‘Arial’.
- Follow the re-create dialogs until the subtitles will start the creation process.
If you are not satisfied with the subtitles, you can go back to our
demo site. Change the subtitles parameters, and repeat the instructions.
If you are not satisfied with the font; Open (using Avid Title Tool) one of the subtitles using the
’Effect Editor’ from the ‘Tools’ menu.
From the ‘Object’ menu click ‘Font Replacement’, and choose another font.
